Access by Airplane
From Kansai International Airport（Direct access）
Take the airport shuttle bus from the Kansai International airport(KIX) to Keihanna Plaza.
The bus ride takes 1hour 40minutes.
At Keihannna Plaza, transfer and take either Bus #56 or #59 bound for Hosono Station. Take the bus to “Keihannna Memorial Park” bus stop. It is approximately a 2 minutes bus ride to “Keihannna Memorial Park”.
From Osaka International Airport (Railways & Bus)
At the Airport transfer to the Osaka Monorail Line and take a local monorail bound for Senrichuo. Get off at Senrichuo Station. At Senrichuo Station transfer to the Osaka Subway Midousuji Line and take a subway bound for Nakamozu. Get off at Hommachi Station. At Hommachi Station transfer to the Osaka subway Chuo Line and take a subway bound for Gakken-Nara-Tomigaoka. Get off at Gakken-Nara-Tomigaoka. Exit the station and take Bus #56 bound for Hosono
Station. Take the bus to “Keihannna Memorial Park” bus stop. It is approximately a 20 minutes bus ride to “Keihannna Memorial Park”. It is a 5 minutes walk to the IIAS.
The railways and bus ride take about 1hours 30minutes.
Access By Train and Bus
From Kyoto (Direct access）
From JR Kyoto station transfer to the Kintetsu Kyoto Line and take an Express train either bound for Kintetsu-Nara, Tenri, or Kashiharajingu-mae. Get off at Shi-Hosono Station. Exit the station and take either Bus #56 or #59 bound for Gakken-Naratomigaoka Station. Get off at “Keihannna Memorial Park” bus stop. It is approximately a 10 minutes bus ride to “Keihannna Memorial Park”. It is a 5 minutes walk to the IIAS from the bus stop.
Access by vehicle
- From Osaka/Nara
- From R163 to the north on the Prefectural Road Hachiman-Kizu Line and turn left at the intersection in front of Kintetsu Kizugawadai Jutakuchi (there is a left turn lane) and go straight about 2km
- From Kyoto
- Keinawa Expressway, from “Seika Gakken IC,” turn right 1km west on Seika Main Street and turn left at the T-intersection and drive 200 m straight ahead
